The 13th Joint Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology (CSCST) and the Society of Chemical Industry, Chinese UK Section (SCICS)

14 October 2006, The University of Manchester, UK

  Objectives
This annual conference is organized by The Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK (CSCST-UK) and The Society of Chemical Industry - Chinese UK Section (SCI-CS). It aims to bring together Chinese scholars in the broad Chemistry and Chemical related fields from the UK and China and to provide a platform for communications and collaborations.

Although the theme of this year's conference is bio-related. The attendee does not have to be locked in this field, it would be good to have multidisplinary attendees. Besides the keynote lecturers, there will be some other invited presentations from some successful Chinese scholars, as well as some poster presentation. The conference will not be too abstract but in a friendly environment; besides giving their views on the development of a scientific field, the speakers will share their personal stories of success and others. It would be good to learn some lessons and experience, as well as know more people.
