Call For Submission of Full Paper
We warmly welcome you to submit your full paper(s) to cscstuk@gmail.com and cover letter with the contact information of 2-3 suggested reviewers. The selected papers will be published on "Particuology" (SCI Journal under Elesvier) in January or Feburary, 2011, as a special issue " Chemical Science and Technology towards a Low-Carbon Economy". Please note that the deadline of full paper submission is extended to 25th December, 2010 20 January, 2011.
As discussed with the Journal, we invited 3 guest Editors with different expertise to organize this special issue:
Prof. Peter Edwards, FRS: CO2 Capture, Conversion and Unilization; Functional Materials
Prof. Yulong Ding: Process Engineering; Particle Science and Technology, Modelling
Dr. Zheng Jiang, President and Representative of CSCST-UK: Catalysis; Sustainable Energy

Summary of 17th CSCST-SCI conference is available now !
The 17th Joint Annual Conference of CSCST-SCI, co-organized by the University of Oxford, CSCST-UK (the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK) and SCI-CS (the Society of Chemical Industry, Chinese UK Group), was successfully held in Oxford. The Conference was kindly supported by the Education Section and the Science & Technology Section of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, and SCICS. The conference chairs were Prof. Zhanfeng Cui and Dr. Zheng Jiang. The theme of the 17th CSCST conference was Chemical Science & Technology towards a Low-Carbon Economy. More than 140 researchers registered for the Conference and approximately 180 people from academic and industrial institutions attended the Conference. The attendees, including chemists, chemical engineers and biochemists, came from the areas of green chemistry, sustainable energy, materials, chemical engineering, environment protection, and industries. According to the web statistics, the Conference website attracted visits from more than 40 countries, worldwide. [ To see the full story, click here! ]

Conference venue will be: Lecture Theatre 1, Thom Building, Department of Engineering, University of Oxford.
If you haven't submit your registration form yet, please fill the excel form and submit it to cscstuk@googlemail.com as soon as possible. If you submitted your oral/poster abstract as a pdf file, would you please re-submit it again in Microsoft Word format to facilitate the editing of conference program.
The best oral presentation (mainly for students) and poster awards
will be voted in the morning and afternoon sessions.
With the helps from our generous sponsors, the conference may cater lunch for the participants and refund partial travelling expense
for the UK-based attendees.

All oral contributions included in this oral program have been accepted.
The
rest of oral applications not appeared in the oral program have been
automatically transferred to poster sessions if the authors have
no objections.
The best oral presentation (mainly for students) and poster awards
will be voted in the morning and afternoon sessions.
Extend the abstract submission deadline
According to the increased requests to extend the deadline for abstract
submission, the organization committee decided to extend the abstract
submission to 15 September 2010 (final date).
With the helps from our generous sponsors, the conference may cater
lunch for the participants and refund partial travelling expense
for the UK-based attendees.
Keynote/Plenary Speakers
Prof. Peter P. Edwards, FRS , Mr John Kessels, Prof. Zanfeng Cui, Prof. Tony Marmont, Prof. Wuzong Zhou, etc will give keynote/plaenary talks in the conference.
