AkzoNobel is running a poster competition in the UK in which we are challenging Masters and PhD research students to consider the big issues and challenges that our society is facing and for them to come up with chemistry- and materials science-based solutions to them. The competition will be open for entries until 31st December and five finalists will be selected to attend the AkzoNobel UK Science Award Event to be held at the Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, London on 7th February, 2012, where they will compete for a prize of 1,000 GBP.
