As Dr. Wu Tao is now mainly based in Nottingham University's China Campus. It is more proper to have someone based in the UK to look after our society. After consulting our committee members, it has been decided that Dr Chuang Peng, a PDRA at Nottingham University, will be the Acting President of CSCST-UK until our next president is elected at our annual conference in Liverpool. Dr. Peng has been involving in CSCST-UK committee for some years and is very experienced in running societies. We are sure that Chuang will try his best to serve our society and to work with our local organizing committee members towards another good annual conference at Liverpool.
